Cargo held or already at the port? We take it from here

Your container is sitting at the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports, it has been held for weeks with no notice, or it arrives today and you still need a clearance broker. We file the entry, the ISF, and the bond, get the cargo released, and deliver it.

What we fix

What importers call us about

  • Cargo already at the port and you need a broker to take it out. Your container is at the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports and nobody is clearing it. We file the entry, pay the duty, and arrange the pickup.
  • Held for weeks, and you never got a notice. We find out why it is held: a CBP exam, a missing ISF, a document, or another agency. Then we answer it and push for release.
  • Arriving today and you still need a clearance broker. Send the bill of lading or air waybill, the invoice, and the packing list. We can file quickly and set up a bond if you do not have one.
  • Your supplier is asking for your customs broker’s information for the ISF. Give them ours. We collect the ISF details from the supplier or their forwarder and file at least 24 hours before the goods are loaded.
  • You need a customs bond. A single-entry bond covers one shipment. A continuous bond covers every entry for a year and suits regular importers. We arrange either.
  • Containers coming in that need customs filing and delivery. Entry, duty, release, drayage, and delivery to your warehouse, handled together so the container moves inside its free time.

More detail: ISF filing (10+2) and Customs bonds: single-entry and continuous.

If the problem starts at origin

Some problems start before the goods ship: missing export documents, supplier paperwork that does not match the invoice, or ISF details nobody has collected. Our team in China can work with your supplier on those before the cargo is loaded.

Customs Problems Help FAQ

My container is already at the port. Can you still clear it?

Yes. Customs clearance on its own is welcome for commercial goods, including cargo already sitting at the port. Send the bill of lading, invoice, and packing list and we start the entry.

My shipment has been held for weeks and I never got a notice. What now?

Holds are not always communicated to the importer. We check the entry and the cargo status, find out which agency or exam is holding it, and tell you what is needed to release it.

My supplier wants my customs broker’s information for the ISF. What do I send?

Send them our contact details. We collect the ISF data from your supplier or their forwarder and file it at least 24 hours before the goods are loaded at the foreign port.

How do I get a customs bond?

We arrange it for you. A single-entry bond covers one shipment. A continuous bond covers every entry for 12 months and usually makes sense once you import more than a few times a year. A continuous bond can take several business days to activate, so start before the cargo arrives.

Can you help if another broker filed the entry?

Yes. You sign a power of attorney for us and we take the entry over, or work alongside the filer to get the shipment released.

What do you not handle?

Personal belongings, household goods, artwork, personal air arrivals, personal vehicle imports, and personal or gift quantities of goods. We handle commercial imports only.
