Import from China, Door to Door
Door-to-Door Import · China to San Diego

Import from China to San Diego, door to door

We run the whole move: pickup at the factory in China, consolidation, ocean or air freight, licensed customs clearance, duties, and delivery to your warehouse, store, or Amazon. One team, one invoice, one person who owns the shipment.

What it is

What door-to-door importing actually covers

Most importers juggle three or four companies: a supplier who says the goods are ready, a forwarder who books space, a broker who files the entry, and a trucker who delivers. When something slips between them, nobody owns it. We replace that chain with one team that has people on the ground in China and a licensed customs operation here at San Diego and Otay Mesa.

Most ocean freight from Asia discharges at Los Angeles or Long Beach, clears, and trucks south to San Diego the same week. Before your goods leave the factory we confirm the paperwork, the HS codes, and the duty so the entry is filed in step with the freight. You get milestone updates and a delivery date you can plan around.

Built for businesses that import on a schedule

We work with brands, Amazon sellers, wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers that bring in shipments regularly, most often from China. That is where our door-to-door service pays off: we plan the freight, clear customs, and deliver, shipment after shipment. See who we work with.

Import from China, Door to Door FAQ

How long does shipping from China to San Diego take?

Ocean freight is about 16 to 24 days port to port, plus a day or two of trucking to San Diego. Air freight is usually 5 to 8 days door to door, and express courier 3 to 6 days. Factory readiness and customs exams can add time, so we plan with a buffer.

Do I need an importer of record number?

Yes. Every US import needs an importer of record. For most businesses that is your IRS EIN, registered with CBP. We set this up with you before the first shipment, or we can ship DDP if you prefer an all-in delivered price.

What is the smallest shipment you handle?

We are built for businesses that ship regularly, typically by the pallet, the LCL load, or the container. A single small parcel or a one-time personal shipment is not a good fit for our service.

Can you ship from suppliers other than in China?

Yes. China is our core lane, but we move freight from Europe, the UK, the UAE, Turkey, India, Japan, Mexico, and elsewhere when the volume is there.
